Members of the Network

The vocation of the International Research and Development Network in Scientific Tourism (International Scientific Tourism Network), is to promote initiatives that innovate in recreational and tourism practice by linking territorial resources and scientific and academic activities. It brings together members and actors from the field of university education, scientific research and tourism management.

During the founding meeting from September 13 to 14, 2018, at Le Pradel, Campus of the Grenoble Alpes University in Ardèche (France), the participants of the ISTN Network declare that they want to strengthen the concept of Scientific Tourism by sharing experiences and offering conceptual supports, tools and working methods for its proper implementation.

FOR WHAT?

The members of the network seek to promote participatory research and citizen science, strengthen spaces of social inclusion in research projects and improve the dissemination of scientific results relevant to tourist spaces.

HOW DO I GET UP?

The application for incorporation as a member is made by email and the sponsorship of an active member of the network. One can be a member without having an initiative in dissemination on the website but must prove to have been part of or continue working on a scientific tourism initiative.

It is required to send a brief personal resume, with your specialization, degree and affiliation to an institution (it can be as an associate but appear in the initiative or have a certificate) and an explanation of the project you carry.

Two members of the scientific committee must validate the incorporation into the network presented by an active partner.

The membership fee is 30US per year.

We are at your disposal for any questions.
