Mont Blanc Participatory Science, Ecology and Knowledge Sharing

SUMMARY
The Centre de Recherches sur les Ecosystèmes d’Altitude (CREA Mont-Blanc) is a research organization specialized in the study of natural mountain environments. Since 1996, CREA Mont-Blanc has been combining excellent research in ecology with knowledge sharing. A pioneer in participatory science and a leader in the field, CREA Mont-Blanc not only wishes to share knowledge and skills with the public, but also and above all to involve them directly in the production of scientific knowledge and innovation. CREA organizes scientific seminars and field activities open to the public such as the “Science Sandwich” program at the Mont Blanc Observatory which invites people to meet researchers who study the mountain.
