The botanical gardens of Lautaret


SUMMARY
The Joseph Fourier Alpine Station is a joint service unit of the University of Grenoble Alpes and the CNRS. It operates at the Lautaret Pass (Alpine Botanical Garden, Chalet-laboratory and Alpe Gallery) and on the Grenoble campus (Robert Ruffier-Lanche arboretum and greenhouses under construction). Its missions concern the development of research platforms, the maintenance of botanical collections, the training of students and the popularization of science among the general public.
